House Groups |
|
There are five house groups meeting monthly on various days and times, for study, discussion and fellowship. There is a common theme for study in the groups, chosen in discussion with those involved. In 2008/09 we shall be taking another look at the parables. Our house groups are always open to newcomers. |

Network of Prayer |
|
Members of the congregation meet every other month to pray for people in need of prayer for whatever reason and also for forthcoming church events, services and activities. At any time a member of the group can be contacted and new names/activities can be circulated and added to the list for prayer. The names on the electoral roll are divided between group members so that each person is prayed for on a regular basis. |

Friendship Group |
|
St John’s Fellowship Group meets on the first Monday in the month (except after Bank Holidays) and exists to provide an opportunity for anyone from the local community to come together and enjoy a cup of tea and fellowship. All welcome. |
|
Prayer and Meditation |
|
We meet on alternate months to meditate in stillness usually on a few verses of scripture. Often the chosen verses tell something of Jesus’ ministry and the listeners are invited to put themselves into the story. The sessions last about an hour. |
